For any of you who missed last week’s post, I tried making homemade apple cider (really homemade — starting with apples galore!) for the first time this fall. And cannot tell you how much we’ve been enjoying it!!
Of course, it has made its way into a few other recipes as well, including this yummy apple cider vinaigrette I wanted to share with you. The recipe is super-simple, and just takes a few minutes to make. Definitely one to bookmark and pull out whenever you have good-quality apple cider on hand! I’ve already tried it with a few different salad combinations (some more sweet, some more savory), and loved it on each one.
Versatile. Easy. Quick. Delicious. Go make some! :)
Apple Cider Vinaigrette

Ingredients
- 1 cup apple cider, homemade or store-bought
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. honey or agave nectar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly-ground black pepper
- pinch cinnamon (1/8tsp or less)
Instructions
- Whisk all ingredients together. (Or pour in a tight-fitting jar and shake until combined.) Serve immediately, or store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Ali’s Tip:
Feel free to also throw in some minced garlic or a pinch of mustard powder if you’d like!

Homemade dressings are always so much better than the store-bought variety. I can’t wait to try this cider vinaigrette! I bet I’ll use it throughout the fall season.
This sounds so great! Yums!!
