As summer draws to a close, I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate with a beautiful sunshiny drink — this colorful Spicy Tequila Sunrise. The recipe for this drink is actually courtesy of In The Raw — the brilliant folks behind the line of Sugar In The Raw, Agave In The Raw, and Stevia In The Raw.

You have probably seen their cute, little, brown, sugar packets in restaurants before. But I recently began cooking at home with the Agave and Stevia, and am in love!

All three products are really such an easy and healthier way to sweeten drinks and all kinds of sweets. And I love that they are all completely natural and organic.

The recipe for this drink called for some Agave In The Raw, along with some delicious pomegranate juice, orange juice, tequila and…yes, the picture didn’t lie…some jalapeno! This was my first time adding the little green pepper to a drink, but it was so fun! Definitely kicked the sweet and fruity flavors up a notch. I loved it!

You could also make this drink sans alcohol and just add in some club soda to make it more of a spritzer. But either way, it will be a crowd pleaser and definitely a conversation starter!
